There was no promise of reducing that rate because it had already been scheduled with a driver at the agreed-upon rate and the customer was already notified of that update. When a driver is scheduled for a pickup, dates and times are not guaranteed due to the nature of the business. [ More ] | | The driver that was scheduled to pickup this vehicle asked the customer to meet him someplace close by because he was not allowed in the residential area that the vehicle was located at. Due to the size and weight of the 18-wheeler trucks that are sent to pickup these vehicles, there are restrictions as to where they are allowed to go to avoid damaging their own truck as well as any other vehicles that are already loaded onto the trailer. The customer was not willing to be flexible with the arrangements of the pickup. The customer was sent a full refund for his deposit in a timely manner even though our terms clearly state that there is no refund after a driver has been scheduled. Our terms also as explain that we get as close to the customer’s door as we are able to during pickup and delivery, which doesn’t necessarily mean we are able to get directly in front of your door. In our terms and conditions we clearly state that we are a broker and we contract out to drivers. When the damage occurred UAT was not made aware of the damage and we were not able to help with the claims process. After speaking with the customer, he indicated that he spoke with the driver's insurance company and they denied his claim. Our terms and conditions clearly state the steps that should be taken during a damage. Since we were not notified, we could not help with the claims process.

| NOT FULFILLING CONTRACT AGREEMENT | | ARVIN ASSURED ME THAT THE COMPANY WAS LICENSED BONDED, IN GOOD STANDING WITH THE BBB AND THAT THEIR DRIVERS ARE COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL, AND THAT HE COULD FULFILL MY TRANSPORT NEEDS. TRANSPORT FROM FL TO CA IN AN ENCLOSED HAULER IN A TIMILEY MANNE... [ More ] | | Mr. Dennis Beasley had scheduled the pick up of his Corvette to be on January 7th, When my driver went to pick up the vehicle on the 7th Mr. Beasley said that he wanted the vehicle to go in an enclosed trailer. We cancelled the pick up with the open trailer and sent out a enclosed trailer the following morning to pick up the vehicle. On average the enclosed carrier cost about $500 more than the open carriers but in this case we did not charge Mr. Dennis Beasley for the enclosed trailer. When the driver picked up the vehicle both Mr. Dennis Beasley and Mr.William Billie Vanhook did an inspection of the vehicle and marked all the damages on the bill of lading which we have a copy of. The bill of lading stated that there were damages on the front end of the vehicle. After the inspection was complete Mr. William Billie Vanhook signed the bill of lading stating that the information was correct. Upon delivery of the vehicle both my driver and Dennis Beasley did a complete inspection on the vehicle to insure that there were no damages other than the ones marked on the bill of lading upon pick up of the vehicle. After the inspection was completed Mr. Dennis Beasley signed the bill of lading. The bill of lading that Mr. Dennis Beasley signed stated... "The Costumer/Consignee hereby acknowledges and represents that he or she has received this vehicle in the same condition as it has previously been delivered to the transporter except as noted above, and hereby releases the broker and transporter from any claims for damage to the vehicle. Will not honor any claims made after delivery signature." by signing the bill of lading Mr. Dennis Beasley accepted that the vehicle was delivered in the same condition as when it was picked up.
