I thought perfect. Day 1 - no call, Day 2, I called - nothing secured... [ More ] | | Lori we are extremely sorry that you are so unhappy about our service. We honestly try our very best to make every customers experience really great. When Jackie took your order she was under the impression that our average of 1-7 day pickup was going to be ok with you, and that you were leaving in 3 days but were going to be leaving the vehicle with you husband or neighbor to releaseit to the carrier if it was going to take the longer portion of our average pickup time. Then later when you let Jackie know that your neighbor was not going to be available anymore and needed to bump this up to faster service, Jackie let our dispatch team know that your were under a time crunch. Normally when customers become under a time crunch we have to upgrade them from the Rockbottom rate to the Priority gauranteed 1-3 day pickup rate. Reason is....our rate of assigning a carrier to pickup is on average 1-7 days for the Rockbottom shipping option. And when someone says they MUST have it picked up quicker than that we have to suggest that they go with the Priority rate (kinda like the post office) in order for us to gaurantee a 1-3 day pickup. So when we were notified that you MUST have the vehicle picked up in 1-3 days our dispatch team tried to avoid you having to upgrade $250 for the priority...and instead they just put some calls out to our carriers to find out if we could get the vehicle still picked up in 3days without having you pay the full PR rate....and thats how they ended up coming to you with the offer of $100 extra to get it picked up in 3days. You see they were just trying to save you some money. I appologize that you were upset but we really were just trying to help get it moved faster for you without having to charge you the PR rate of $250 more. | GOOD COMPANY WITH BAD CONTRACTORS! | | I contacted AGAPE Transport to pick up my car in GA and bring it to FL. I had a bad experience with a company prior to AGAPE and when I spoke with Jermey @ AGAE he seemed friendly and helpful. We paid the priority rate to have the car picked up in 3... [ More ] | | We are shocked and caught off guard by this review. Kerry was extremely happy with our service as she noted. The carrier we assigned to pickup Kerry's vehicle is highly rated in this industry and does a wonderful job. So we were very shocked to see her review. The carrier has been portrayed poorly by Kerry and this story is not completely accurate. The carrier did call several hours in advance to deliver to the body shop. The reason they did not call Kerry is because she was not listed as the delivery person, the body shop was. When they arrived for their appointment to deliver the vehicle the body shop informed the carrier that they had not received payment from Kerry and were going to have to leave the vehicle and contact Kerry for payment. The carrier did not make a scene but did tell them that they were not going to unload until they were paid, per the terms and conditions of the contract Kerry signed. There was no damage to the vehicle and the carrier did not expect Kerry to sign the bill of lading and pay them before inspecting the vehicle. The carrier was portrayed completely incorrect because Kerry was upset that she had to take time to go give the money that should have already been given to the body shop. We do our very best to make sure the process is quick and smooth for the customer but we need our customers to do everything on their end to make sure that the process is smooth in order to prevent situations like this. We truly are sorry that the situation was stressful for Kelly. We do try our very best to make our customers experience hassle free and smooth.
